BIOGRAPHY

Ana Rosa Hernandez is a Cuban born classical pianist. She is part of the music generation of the 80s emerged from the University of Arts (Instituto Superior de Arte)- Havana.  Ana Rosa began her piano studies with Rodolfo Jackavanian and Vladimir Kouzmenko in Cuba, continued with Ignacio Pacheco at Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, and under the guidance of Dr. Yun Ling Hsu, Ana Rosa holds a Master Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Central Florida.

Her piano style is warm, emotional and tropical flavored sound combined with an intense Russian classic piano rigor.

During recent years, Ana Rosa had played recitals in Southeast coast states universities. She performed solo concerts, played in ensemble with young and established musicians in the US and Cuba.

In her, piano plans for 2018 would be performing with contemporary Cuban musicians at http://www.kennedy-center.org/calendar/series/ACU, playing chamber music,
prepare for solo recitals in NYC.

Part of her Classic Piano Repertoire includes from Bach to Gershwin and from Cuban Lecuona to Scriabin. Ana Rosa also would perform for other Cuban jazz composers and young artist in Jersey and NYC.
